Heilungswissen
Detox and purification
The climate – detoxification by sweating
The cornerstone of any treatment is detoxification – here the climate helps the body a lot. The body excretes by sweating many toxins that would otherwise put more strain on the liver and kidney.
The high humidity prevents drying out. The cleansing of the skin is also of great importance. The body is challenged in its vibrancy, it has to endure, endure, detoxify and sweat.
The healers cocktails contribute another part to the detox. It is important to stick to his individually tailored instructions. He knows medicine and knows what to consider.
Oje – Renew intestinal flora and cleaning the blood
The most important means of cleaning is the milk of the ojebaut, which contains latex. Traditionally, it has been used as an antiparasitic, against worms. Oje also renews the intestinal flora and washes the blood. A gentle shimmer makes the skin glow through Oje.
You meet in the morning at 6 o ‘clock in the group room, where Francisco has already prepared the Oje. He has enriched it with some orange juice and honey. It is drunk on an empty stomach – after a 1/2 hour you start drinking warm water, as hot as possible, a glass every quarter of an hour. This literally flushes the Oje through.
A cleaning that activates all channels of letting go. Resistance is futile. Which is not a mistake, since man should be easy for the rainforest and let go of anything that does not serve him.
The green cocktail of various medicinal plants – verbena, basil, elderflower, etc. – everything runs backwards again. Early in the morning, the healer goes off to harvest the leaves for his cocktail. The leaves are freshly ground and then squeezed out-some water, salt and oil are added.
The intake is set at 6 o ‘clock. To do this, you meet will meet the healer in the group room or in the bathroom. After drinking medicine, you retire to your room, go into union with medicine alone in Communion –. Until it triggers whatever has to get out. Around 10 o ‘clock you get a tea prepared by the healer, then a light meal.
Traditional diets
Diets are the traditional way of Amazonian medicine. In the seclusion of the forest, the conductor takes only one plant-he remains in isolation. The diet can last from 1 day to several weeks, up to one and more years. The plant or tree spirit approaches man in seclusion.
A diet is done by someone who wants to learn medicine or who wants to get well. Diet includes knitted isolation, no salt, sex, sugar, alcohol or other irritants including fats. No coffee, no stimulants, no fruit. It is up to the healer to decide how and which medicinal plant is used. Most of the time, the diet starts with a ceremony. There, the healer receives the message of the plant kingdom and its helpers. Most of the time, one or more plants announce their willingness to cooperate with humans. At the specified time, the healer and the dietitian meet. Medicine is drunk sober early in the morning. The diet person stays in his room or alone in nature. The healer oversees the process from affar. The task of the dietitian is to communicate with the plant or tree spirit.
Body work and manual therapies
Again, there is a wealth of experience in how bones are redrawn or what injuries need to be treated like. Which massages are useful for what and how a child needs to be born. Old female knowledge – also practiced by men, but completely different. People in the Amazon develop their talents as needed and usefulness to the community. The gift of bone loss, of internal diagnosis based on muscle tension, are just a few of many that people develop on the Amazon.
