Those who engage with nature – consciously look at it, smell and hear it – can perceive their surroundings holistically.
– Peter Wohlleben
To experience the rainforest, you have to consciously keep your eye on the detail. Much happens that remains hidden from the superficial eye. It is less recognition of nature as we know it than the challenge of experiencing it completely anew.
Your very personal journey
It is said that whoever goes to Peru then changes his life – Peru, the magnetic forces that connect the opposites in Peru change us, too.
Many people who come to Moteloy seek experiences with medicine and shamanism. Not all. Some focus on experiencing and adventure with the forest. Others seek above all the experience of community and with other cultures. Most want a bit of everything. To make the whole thing more tangible, we laced packages … Also as a support to prevent misunderstandings and facilitate selection.
But no matter which offer you choose, the responsibility for yourself can’t surrender anywhere. You will need trust, in yourself and your powers, in your perception – in your spiritual guidance. And into the people who surround you.
Congrating oneself as the originator of one’s own reality is one of the greatest spiritual challenges and, at the same time, can be the key and beginning of a comprehensive healing process. Rainforest in its nature represents pure life. To talk to friend Heinrich: Pura vida! But you will also be confronted with your fears of life and phobias. And you’re asked, what do you choose? Healing or resistance? For everyone, everything is always there that they need for the next step at the moment. Thus, the stay in the rainforest becomes a school of life of perception.
Moteloy’s central concern is to give people the widest possible enjoyment of nature and the forest. No one has to take medicine in Moteloy. We know that today many providers make offers. People are approached in Peru on the street about whether they want to take ayahuasca. At this point, we would like to point out that it is important to look really well and take care of your own safety.
Another personal comment: Nowadays there is often talk of non-profit organizations that are highly praised. A difficult formulation in a developing country where many people would do anything to get the money that is hard to reach. Over the years, the idea for a new name has emerged in me: How about “Profit for Life Organisation”? What does that sound like? With this personal comment, I hope to answer some of the questions in the room.
Of course, there are situations where we can meet people in price. Still, Moteloy and Acelpa live off their earnings.
You can experience directly what happens to your money. You can also collaborate for food and logis after certain agreements. At the same time, we ask for your understanding that we want to get to know you first.
